롤프 오모트

롤프 오모트는 1934년 노르웨이 베르겐 출생으로, 화가, 그래픽 아티스트, 영상 음향 아티스트 영화 감독 및 예술 작가이다. 그는 컴퓨터, 레이저 및 사진 기술과 같은 신기술을 전통 예술 형식과 결합하여 실험적인 방식으로작업했으며, 이를 회화적 언어 (pictorial tone language)로 개발했다. 또한 그는비쥬얼 아트, 공연 예술 및 영화를 포함한 전자 예술 형식의 선구자로 여겨지고 있다.그는 작곡가 Arne Nordheim과 BjørgLødøen와 안무가Kristin Lødøen Linder 등, 다양한 사람들과 협력하여 작업해왔다.

"Rolf Aamot (born in Bergen, 1934) is a painter, electronic painter, graphic artist, visual tone artist, film director and art writer. Aamot has worked experimentally with new technologies such as computer, laser and photo techniques in combination with traditional art forms, and has developed what he calls a pictorial tone language. He is considered a pioneer of electronic art forms – including visual arts, performing arts and film – and has worked in partnership with others including composers Arne Nordheim, BjørgLødøen and photographer, dancer and choreographer Kristin Lødøen Linder.”
