DESCRIPTION
영상의 노이즈가 리드미컬한 패턴으로 화면에서 번갈아 번쩍인다. ‘비디오 깜박거림’이 더해진 이 실험은 직사각형 화면 안에 놓인 원형 모양에 의해 정해진 밀도 있는 텍스쳐와 함께 매혹적인 이미지를 생성한다.
In 'Noisefields', a field of video snow, or noise, flashes alternately in a rhythmic pattern on the screen. This experiment with 'video flicker' produces a mesmerizing image with a dense texture defined by a circular shape set within the rectangular screen.

토르힐 에우칸 토르힐 에우칸은 1960년에 트론헤임에서 출생하였으며, 현재 트론헤임에서 거주하며작업하는 비주얼 아티스트다. 그녀는1990년트론헤임 예술학교의 인터미디어 전공 첫 졸업생으로 학사 학위를 받았고, 같은 학교에서 판화 제작을 공부해 1997년에 석사 학위를 받았으며, 여러 국제 영화제와 예술 전시회에 참여하였다. 그녀는 회화와 그래픽 작업을 하며, 사진 기술을 기본으로 하는 영상 및 사진 작업도 한다. 그녀의 작업물들은 인간과 자연과 우리에게 존재하는 갈망의 관계를 중심으로 이루어져 있고, 노르웨이의 여러 예술 단체들에게 매매된다. 현재는트론헤임에거주하며작업에 매진하고 있다. |
Torhild AUKAN Torhild Aukan (born in Trondheim,1960) is a visual artist who lives and works in Trondheim. She belonged to the first class of graduates from the Department of Intermedia at Trondheim Academy of Art (BA, 1990) and the Department of Printmaking at Trondheim Academy of Art (MA, 1997). Aukan has since participated in several international film festivals and art exhibitions. She works with video and photography as well as painting and graphics, using photographic techniques as the basis. Her work revolves around the relationship between man and nature and our existential longing. Aukan’s works are purchased among others by the Arts Council Norway. She lives and works in Trondheim |
