    SEOL Suan

    영국 골드스미스대학에서 다큐멘터리 이론 및 제작 전공으로 석사학위를 받았다. <불편한 식사>, <공부 차>, <불편> 등의 단편 다큐멘터리를 연출했고 EBS국제다큐영화제, 서울환경영화제, 서울국제뉴미디어페스티벌 등의 영화제 프로그래머로 활동했다. 중앙대학교 첨단영상대학원 박사과정을 수료하고 영상예술 연구와 제작을 병행하고 있다.

    After studying documentary at the graduate school of Goldsmiths College, Univ. of London, Suan Seol directed short documentaries such as Kungfu Tea and The Uncomfortable for screening and gallery exhibition. She has worked as programmer of several festivals including EBS International Documentary Festival, Seoul Eco Film Festival, and Seoul International ALT Cinema & Media Festival. She's currently working as a critic and making a feature documentary.

    JEONG Minah

    영화평론가. 성결대학교 연극영화학부 교수. 뉴욕대와 동국대에서 영화이론을 공부했다. 한국영화학회 학술이사, EBS국제다큐영화제·여성인권영화제 자문위원, 영화전문 사이트 「익스트림 무비」 편집위원이며, 부산국제영화제, 부천국제판타스틱영화제, 서울독립영화제 등 여러 영화제의 심사위원으로 활동하고 있다. 공저 『봉준호 코드』, 『The Korean Cinema Book』 , 역서 『필름 크래프트: 프로덕션디자이너』, 『시각문화의 매트릭스』 등이 있다.

    Film critic and Professor of the Division of Theater & Film at SungKyul University in Korea. She received degrees in Cinema Studies from NYU and Dongguk University. She is the academic director of the Korean Cinema Association, the committee of EBS International Documentary Film Festival and Women’s Right Film Festival in Seoul, and serves as a jury member of various film festivals including the Busan International Film Festival. She is the co-author of Bong Joon Ho Code(Medibooks, 2021) and The Korean Cinema Book(BFI, 2021), and the translator of Film Craft: Production Designer(Focal Press, 2012) and The Matrix of Visual Culture(Stanford University Press, 2003) as well as other works.

    LEE Seungmin

    영화 연구자이자 비평가. 캐나다 요크대학에서 영화공부를 시작했고, 중앙대학교 영화과에서 영화학 박사를 취득했다. 저서로는 <한국 다큐멘터리 영화의 배급과 해외 시장 개발을 위한 연구>, <허구가 아닌 현실>, <한국 다큐멘터리 영화의 오늘 – 장르, 역사, 매체>, <영화와 공간-동시대 한국 다큐멘터리 영화의 미학적 실천> 등이 있다.

    She is a film researcher and critic. She studied cinema at York University in Canada and got her PhD at the graduated school of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia and Film at Chung-Ang University. She published many papers and books on films.

    함혜경
    HAM Hyekyung

    함혜경은 한국에서 활동하고 있는 영상작가다. 그는 다양한 장소에서 수집된, 어디에서나 있는 이 미지와 이야기를 재구성하여 ‘누굮가’의 독자적인 이야기로 만들어낸다. 누구나 아는 것에서 시작 해 깊고 내밀한 어떤 것에 대해 말하는데, 자싞의 모습을 발견할 수 있는 상황을 찾아내고, 그것 에 대해 내 머릾속에 떠오르는 장면들을 텍스트로 옮겨 비디오 안에서 말하게 한다. 무엇보다 이 미 존재하는 내러티브와 이미지를 도구로 새로운 이야기를 만드는 방식에 주목한다. 백남준아트 센터 이음-공간에서 <평온의 섬, 2020>, 갤러리 룩스에서 <의문의 가장자리, 2019>외 다수의 개 인전을 가졌고, 북서울시립미술관, 하이트 컬렉션, 아트선재, 더 스트림, 아이공, AAMP, 네마프, 주 홍콩한국문화원, DMZ영화제 등에서 작품을 선보인바 있다.

    Living and working as a video artist in Seoul, South Korea, Hyekyung Ham collects and reconstructs universal images and stories from various places to weave them into a unique story of ‘someone.’ Starting from what everyone knows of to a deep intimate story, Ham seeks for situations she can see herself in and lets them speak through her video by transcribing scenes in her head as texts in the video. Moreover, she focuses on creating new stories based on already existing narratives and images. Ham had private exhibitions, such as <A Small Island I Call Peace> (Eum-Space, Nam June Paik Art Center, 2020) and <The Edge of Mystery> (Gallery Lux, 2019), and participated in various projects like SeMA Buk-Seoul Museum of Art, HITE Collection, Art Sonje Center, THE STREAM, iGong Media Theater, AAMP(Asian Artist Moving Image Platform), Seoul International ALT Cinema & Media Festival, Korean Cultural Center in Hong Kong, and DMZ International Documentary Film Festival, etc.

    안예지
    AHN Yaejee

    펜실베니아주립대학교 메인캠퍼스에서 커뮤니케이션학을 전공했다. 2016년부터 2019년까지 시네-미디어 큐레이터 및 프로그램 코디네이터로 대안영상문화발전소 아이공에서 근무했다. 주로 서울국제뉴미디어페스티벌의 국가교류전, 작가회고전을 기획했으며 <대안영상예술장르연구:포스트-스토리텔링>(2019) ,<아이공 아카이브 스크리닝전:새로운 상상 새로운 쓰임 >(2019) 등을 기획했다. 현재 신진 크리에이터를 위한 숏폼 콘텐츠 플랫폼 기획 사업에 참여 중이다.

    Ahn Yaejee majored in Communication Arts & Sciences at Pennsylvania State University. She worked as a cine-media curator and program coordinator at Alternative Visual Culture Factory, iGong from 2016 to 2019. She mainly curated International Exchange Exhibitions and Retrospective Programs for Seoul International NewMedia Festival and designed <Alternative Video Art Genre Study: Post-Storytelling>(2019), <iGong Archive Screening: New Imagination New Usage>(2019) and more. Currently, she participates in planning a platform for short-form contents by emerging artists.

    OH Jaehyeong

    단편영화 <덩어리, 2016>, <블라인드 필름, 2016>, <봄날, 2018>, <모스크바 닭도리탕, 2019> 등을 연출했다. 서울국제뉴미디어페스티벌, 제천국제음악영화제, 서울독립영화제, , 인디포럼 등에서 상영한 이력이 있다. 최근에는 영상과 피아노 연주를 결합한 오디오비주얼 퍼포먼스에 집중하고 있다. 개인전 <비디오 리사이틀, 2019>, <피아노 프리즘: 보이지 않는 도시들, 2020>에서 공연의 형태로 작품을 선보였다. 공황장애를 다룬 에세이 <넌, 생생한 거짓말이야>, 그리고 <피아노를 치며 생각한 것들>을 출간했다.

    I directed short films such as <The Lump, 2016>, <Blind Film, 2016>, <A Spring Day, 2018> and <Moscow chicken stew, 2019>, I have screened at the <Seoul International New Media Festival>, <Jecheon International Music & Film Festival>, <Seoul Independent Film Festival> and <Indie Forum>. In recent years, audio visual performance has been combined with video and piano performance. In my solo exhibitions <Video Recital, 2019> and <Piano Prism: Invisible Cities, 2020>, I presented my work in the form of a performance. published essays about panic disorder and piano.

    Dong-Yeon Koh

    고동연은 국내외 아트 레지던시의 멘토, 운영위원, 비평가로 활동해오고 있으며 2017, 2018 고양 야외조각축제의 커미셔너를 역임한 바 있다. 뉴욕 시립대학교에서 미술사와 영화이론 박사 학위를 받았고 최근 저서로는 『소프트파워에서 굿즈까지: 1990년대 이후 동아시아 현대미술과 예술대중화 전략들』(2018)이 있다. 현재는 1990년대 이후 한국 현대미술에서 두드러진 역사적 비극과 기억의 문제를 다룬 『The Korean War and Post-memory Generation: The Arts and FIlms in South Korea(한국 전쟁과 후-기억 세대: 한국 동시대미술과 영화)』(런던, 러틀리지, 2021)가 있다.

    Dong-Yeon Koh, an art critic, has served as an mentor and committee in art residencies, art prizes, and museums in South Korea over the last two decades. She was also the commissioner of the Goyang Outdoor Sculpture Festival in 2017 and 2018. Koh received her Ph. D in Art History and Doctorate Certificate on Film Theory at the Graduate Center, the City University of New York in 2006. Her recent publications include From Softpower to Goods: Alternative Forms of Exhibitions and Populist Artistic Practices in Post-1990s East Asian Art (Seoul, 2018) and Korean War and Post-memory Generation: The Arts and Films in South Korea (London: Routledge) in 2021 on artistic and cinematic explorations of tragic histories and memories in South Korea from the 2000s and onwards.

    Kim Hyunjoo Dalo

    시각미술가. 아티스트커뮤니티 클리나멘 대표. 독일 카셀국립대학교에서 조형예술을 전공했다. 지금 만나는 사람, 내일 만나는 사람, 일 년 후 만날 누군가가 되기 위해 ‘아무도 아닌 나’가 되려고 애쓴다. 누군가가 되고 또 누군가와 대화하기 위해 질문을 만들고 같이 산책을 한다. 예술이 보이지 않는 ‘우리’를 위한 것, 그 보이지 않는 ‘우리’가 할 수 있는 것이라 믿으며 예술의 공공성에 대해 고민한다. 미군부대와 함께 형성된 정착촌마을 의정부 빼뻘에서 2019 <빼뻘-주름 프로젝트>를 시작으로 현재는 지역커뮤니티예술공간 <ㅃㅃ보관소>를 운영하며 사람과 장소안에 존재하느 유무형의 경계들을 관찰하고 그것과 예술적 마찰을 일으키는 것을 실험한다.

    Dalo Hyunjoo Kim is a visual artist. With an ontological and sociological question of "Who am I?", She has been visiting underdeveloped places, redevelopment areas or socially hidden places. She recently held her solo exhibitions entitled [Hands – Groping for memories and the future: Everyone's Hand Project 2021] and [Ppaeppeol crease, 2019] and had also participated in group exhibitions such as [Ppaeppeol is 共共共 2021], [Loop Stop : Borken Bridge, Seoul & Lyon Project 2020], [Carpenter's Scene 2019]
