DESCRIPTION

젊은이들이 서로에게 팝콘을 던진다. 감독은 528프레임을 동시에 노출시킬 수 있는 핀홀 카메라를 직접 제작하여 <팝콘>을 촬영했다. 타임 슬라이스 기법이 움직임과 공간을 분리시키는 효과를 만든다.

‘Popcorn’ is shot with a self-made pinhole camera, which exposes simultaneously 528 frames. An illusion of moving around a frozen subject is created when these still images are animated into a movie. The time slice technique separates movement and time from each other. We see a group of young people throwing popcorn at each other. 

 

리사 로우닐라

1976년 출생. 리사 로우닐라는 헬싱키에 거주하며 실험영화, 사진 그리고 그림 작품 활동에 주력한다. 그녀의 작품들은 대부분 변화를 향한 욕구와 기대감 그리고 가능성에 대하여 다룬다. 그녀의 작품들은 영화, 선정적 보도가 담긴 신문, 라이프스타일 매거진 그리고 팝 가사들을 배경으로 한다.

 

 Liisa LOUNILA 

Liisas Lounila (b.1976) lives and works in Helsinki. Her main mediums are experimental film/video, photography and painting. Her works usually deal with an obscure need for change, great expectations and places of potential. Usually her pictures, both still and moving, have theri backgroudn in movies, yellow papers, lifestyle magazines and pop lyrics.
