웨스트 잉글랜드 대학교에서 사진과 시각문화를 전공한 영화감독. 영화 제작 접근 방식은 주로 사진 이미지의 시각적인 언어에 의존하였으며 정치, 불평등, 정체성등의 주제에 초점을 둔다. 첫 작품 ‘출발’은 대학교 4학년에 만들었으며 유럽의 페스티벌과 전시회 등에서 상영되었다. 2016년 작품 ‘샤카’는 세계 여러 페스티벌에 출품되었다.

웨스트 잉글랜드 대학교에서 영화와 문예창작 학사를 취득한 23살의 영화 감독이자 극작가이다. 대학교를 마친 후, 자선 기금모음자로 일하였으며 베트남으로 거처를 옮긴 후에는 작업을 위한 자금 마련 수단으로 영어 선생님이 되었다. 지금까지 4편의 단편 영화를 완성했고 주로 감독의 역할을 도맡았다.

Filmmaker who graduated from The University of the West of England (BA Photography and Visual Culture). My approach to film making draws heavily on the visual language of the photographic image and focuses on the themes of inequality, politics, displacement and identity. My first film ‘Departure’ which was produced during the final year of my degree has been screened at festivals and exhibitions in Europe, while my latest project Chaka was completed earlier this year (2016) and has been submitted to festivals around the world.

Film maker and screenwriter who graduated from the University of the West of England in 2014 with a degree in Film Studies and Creative Writing. Since finishing university I have worked as a charity fundraiser before relocating to Vietnam to pursue a career as an English teacher as a means to fund my creative work. To date I have completed 4 short films primarily as a director, although I have fulfilled a number of different roles. I have won a number of competitions through organisations such as Ideas Tap for short screenplays I have written. My writing aims to explore existential themes and reflect on the impact of contemporary Western culture and civilisation.
