DESCRIPTION

프라하 교외로 이동하는 기차 안에서 메토데이와 루카쉬가 친구들을 만난다. 이방인 친구 카를과  함께  담배를 피우며 원치 않는 물건들을 불에 태운다. 그리고 그들이 만들고 있는 유투브 영상을 위한 랩 연습을 한다. 일련의 삽화들로 이루어진 이 영화는 기차가 지나가는 동안 무료한 시간을 보내는 어린 소년들을 묘사한다.     

By the train tracks in Prague's neigbourhood, Metodej and Lukash meet with their friends. They kick holes in the air, set unwanted items on fire and practice their rap skills for an upcoming youtube video they're trying to make, with their foreigner friend Karl.  Told through a series of vignettes, the film is an intimate portrait of young boys killing time to the sound of trains passing by.

 

Karl Friis FORECHHAMMER

1989년 출생. 코펜하겐 대학교에서 영화와 미디어 공부를 하였다. 그는 요리 실험(2011), 소녀들에 관하여(2013), 그리고 덴마크의 또 다른 봄(2015) 과 같은 단편영화들을 연출했다. <기차가 지나가는 동안>은 체코 프라하 필름 아카데미에서 인턴십을 하는 중에 만들었다.

Karl Friis FORECHHAMMER

Karl Forchhammer (1989) currently attends film and media studies at the University of Copenhagen. He is the author of short lenght films Regarding Girls (2013) and Another Danish Spring (2015). What To Do While Trains Pass By was made during his study at Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in 2015. The film took part in the short film competition at Jihlava International Documentary Festival in Czech Republic, and was later nominated for the Pavel Kouteckyprize. Dealing with various subjects, his films has a humoristic approach usually revolving around a theme of friendship.
