DESCRIPTION
이 영상은 푸른 빛이 도는 이질적인 이미지들을 연속적으로 보여준다; 부서지는 파도들, 다양한 기하학 형태, 나체 여성의 조각, 이 모든 이미지를 다리를 꼬고 팔로 자신을 감싸고 있는 벌거벗은 한 남성의 고정적인 이미지 위에 계속하여 겹쳐 올린다.
<The Rose> begins with a blue-tinted sequence of disparate images; breaking waves, various geometric forms, a sculpture of a naked woman, all superimposed over the continuously present static image of a naked man with his legs crossed and his arms wrapped round himself.

레우리 그룬트 레우리 그룬트는 1923년 노르웨이 파라디스 출생으로 국립 예술 대학, 노르웨이 국립 예술원과 베르겐 서양 노르웨이 예술 학교에서 미술을 공부했다. 그는 주로 회화를 했으나, 단편 영상과 단편 연극도 제작했다. 그는 60년간 자연과 인간의 갈등이 동기가 되는 그림을 연구해왔으며 그는 현재 베르겐에서 거주 하고 있다.

Laurie GRUNDT Laurie Grundt (born Lars Otto Roll Grundt in Paradis, 1923) studied art at the National College of Art and Design, Bergen, the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in Oslo and at Bergen Student Studio the precursor to Western Norway’s Academy of Art in Bergen. Grundt has mainly worked with paintings, but has also produced several short films and plays. Grundt has studied and practiced painting for 60 years, where nature and human conflicts constitute the main motive. He now lives and works in Bergen. |
