DESCRIPTION

2014년 4월 29일 생탁에서 일하던 노동자들이 법에 정해진 노동 3권 보장과 안전한 먹거리를 위한 환경개선을 요구하며 파업에 들어갔다. 노동자들은 자신의 투쟁을 기록하기 위해 카메라를 들고 거리에서 쉼 없이 자신들의 이야기를 외치지만, 법과 자본, 사람들의 무관심과 가족의 외면은 그들의 외침을 집어삼켜 버린다. 그럼에도 불구하고 노동자들은 다시 거리로 나선다.

현재 오지필름에서 활동 중이다. 옆집 할머니의 삶을 들여다보면서, 다큐멘터리 <그들만의 크리스마스>(2007)를 만들기 시작했다. 노동자와 여성, 장애인이 차별 받지 않는 세상을 꿈꾸며 다큐멘터리를 만들고 있다.

PARK Bae-il is currently working in an independent film group, Ozifilm. Inspired by an old lady in his neighborhood, he made his first short documentary, Just Their Christmas (2007). Dreaming of a world without any discrimination against workers, women and the disabled, he is currently working on other documentary projects.
