DESCRIPTION

함께였던 사람이 죽으면, 함께였던 시간과 공간도 그와 함께 멈춰버리고, 더 이상 어떻게 살아야 할 지 막막해지고 만다. 기억을 없애듯 죽은 이의 물건을 버리는 것보다는, 마음한구석 상자에 조용히 놓아두는 것이 오히려 새로운 시작임을 깨닫게 되는 이야기다.

When someone close passed away, all time and space we were together was suddenly stopped, so we're at a loss about what to do. This is a story about new beginning from living things our special one had used, in the back of our mind, rather than to remove unpleasant memories. 

 

ARTIST’S STATEMENT 

<이사>는 살면서 누구나 한번쯤 겪게 되는, 가까운 이의 죽음을 견디어 내는 시간에 대한 이야기입니다. 죽은 이에 대한 기억과 흔적을 단지 과거에 묻어두는 것이 아니라, 지금 내 삶의 현재로 받아들이는 그때가, 바로 새로운 미래로 나아가는 첫걸음을 떼는 순간이라 생각하며 만든 작품입니다. 

<Move Out> is a story about  the time persevering after the most close person's death with most people meet through their life. It's message that the first step for new beginning is the moment to embrace a lonely present, rather than we put memories and  traces of close death people in past behind.

박소영 프라하국립예술영화&TV아카데미에서 애니메이션을 공부하였다. 대표적인 작품으로는 <즐거운 우리집>(2007), <죽음의 정류장>(2008), <당신이 없는 그 곳>(2009) 등이 있다.

PARK So-young PARK studied animation at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Some of her most prominent works include Home, Sweet Home (2007), Station of the Dead (2008), and Where You Are Not (2009).
