DESCRIPTION

시각에 포착되기 이전의 시간은 현상 뒤에 은둔하여 나즈막히 흐르고 있었다. 유동적인 흐름은 상이 맺힐 수 있는 표면 위로 착상될 순간을 노렸고, 시간의 단위는 이미지의 파동으로 잔잔히 생성되었다. [~]는 무언가를 쓰다가 지우기를 반복한다.

Before being perceived by sight, time was flowing softly and slowly behind the veil of phenomenon. The fluid flow aimed for a moment to be implanted on the surface that is capable of forming a reflection, and the unit of time was subtly created by the wave of images. [~] repeatedly writes something and erases it.

 

ARTIST’S STATEMENT 

잔잔한 수면 위로 드러났다, 사라지는 물결을 의인화하여 글을 쓰고, 영상의 표면을 잘게 잘라서 물결의 진동을 시각화시키려 하였다.

It is an attempt to write about the flow of water that appears and disappears on its soft surface via personification and to visualize the vibration of the flow of water through finely dividing the surface of video.
