DESCRIPTION
한 남자가 샌프란시스코 앞바다에서 암컷 혹등고래와 영혼 교류의 순간을 경험한다. 이것은 진정한 소통의 순간이었을까 아니면 그저 불가사의였을까. 실제 일어났던 이 기묘한 일은 시애틀에 위치한 칼 앤더슨 공원의 지나가는 행인들의 도움으로 16피트 높이의 큰 벽화로 재건되었다.
A fisherman experiences a moment of connection with a female humpback whale in the waters off of San Francisco. Is this an example of inter-species communication or a mysterious fluke? This true story is retold in paint on a 16 foot high wall with the help of the passing public in Seattle's Cal Anderson Park.

테스 마틴 테스 마틴은 독립애니메이터로 백 리트 페이퍼, 잉크, 페인트, 모래와 같은 오브제들로 주로 작업한다. 그녀는 세 번의 포컬쳐장학금과 두 번의 시애틀시 장학금 외 다양한 지원금을 수여한 바 있다. 그녀의 영화들은 갤러리 및 전세계 영화제에서 상영되었으며 그녀는 SEAT(시애틀 실험애니메이션팀)의 멤버이다. |
Tess Martin Tess Martin is an independent animator who works with back-lit paper cut-outs, ink, paint, sand or objects. She is the recipient of three 4Culture grants, two City of Seattle grants, and numerous others in support of her films. Her films have displayed at galleries as well as festivals worldwide. She is a member of SEAT, Seattle Experimental Animation Team, a collective of independent animators. |
