DESCRIPTION

상징으로 가득 찬 변형 이미지를 통해 육우 생산과 소비 행태에 대한 작가의 코멘트를 표현한 애니메이션.

Through metamorphic images loaded with symbolism, this film represents the author’s thoughts on the subject of meat production and consumption.

 

 

알렉산드라 라바쉐르

1982년 캐나다 퀘벡주의 셔위니건 출신으로 코스타리카대학교에서 미술과 그래픽디자인을 수학했다. 그 뒤 스페인 EINA 대학원에서 일러스트레이션을 입학했으며, 2010년 몬트리올로 돌아와 프리랜서 일러스트레이터로 일했다. 2012년 필름 애니메이션 전공으로 콩코디아대학교 멜호픈하임영화학교에 들어갔으며 현재 학업과 작품 작업을 병행하고 있다.

 Alexandra Levasseur

Born 1982, Shawinigan, Qc, Canada, Alexandra left her country in 2000 to go to Costa Rica, where she did a B.A in Fine Arts and Graphic Design at the University of Costa Rica. Then she pursued her studies with a postgraduate in Illustration at EINA - Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art of Barcelona in 2008. In 2010, she is back in Montreal, where she starts working as a freelance illustrator and on her personal projects. In 2012, she entered the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema of Concordia University in Montreal, to study Film Animation and was granted with an scholarship for her academic excellence.
