DESCRIPTION
나는 카메라를 매개체로 개인(“Amah”라 불리는 동남아의 값싼 여성인력)과 구조적 체제(신자본주의)와의 접점지대에 일어나는 평범한 사건들을 관찰하고 그것을 기록하여, 제한된 삶(Non-Fiction)과 제한된 이상(Fiction)사이에서의 드러나는 현실적 부조리와 모순이 포착되는 순간들을 담아내고자 한다.
I captured a moment of a flock of women who called “Amah(House Maid)” in Hong Kong and they were actually imported from all over the South East Asia countries under the capitalism. I attempt to reveal an absurdity that it lies between limited reality(Nov-Fiction) and idealism(Fiction) from an ordinary scene which I encountered in a Victoria Park.

김세진 김세진은 2005년 서강대학교 영상대학원 영상미디어과에서 영화를 2012년 영국의 슬레이드 미술대학(UCL)에서 영상미디어를 전공하였다. 아트센터 나비, 런던 ICA갤러리등 다수의 국내외 전시에 참여했다. |
Sejin Kim Sejin Kim received MFA in Fine Art from Slade School of Fine Art in London and MA in Film/TV from Sogang University in Seoul, S. Korea. She took part in number of exhibition internationally and nationally. |
