DESCRIPTION
부산의 범전동. 조용하게 비가 내리는 가운데 민방위 훈련을 알리는 익숙한 사이렌이 들려온다. 내리던 비가 그치면서 날이 개이고 바람이 느껴진다. 동해남부선 위를 달리는 기차가 일으킨 것인지, 아름다운 초원 ‘캠프 하야리아(Camp Hialeah)’에서 불어온 것인지 묘연하기만 한 그 바람은 ‘사라진 마을(돌출마을)’을 지나 ‘붉은 골목(300번지)에 이르고 ’굉음‘으로 사라진다.
A familiar siren of the civil defense drill sirens blasts through the rain-falling neighborhood of Busan’s Beomjeon-dong. Subsequently the rain is replaced by a light breeze which may have come from the train running across the ‘Southern tracks of the East Sea(Donghae Nambu Railroad)’, or from the breathtaking meadows of ‘Camp Hialeah’. The mysterious breeze passes through an ‘abandoned village(Dolchool Village), and then the ‘Red Alleyway(street address 300)’ until it vanishes to a great ‘Raor’.

1985년 부산 출생. 부산의 공간들이 품고 있는 시간의 층위에 대한 응시를 다큐멘터리 형식을 통해 영화에 담아내는 작업을 지속해오고 있다. 마침표가 없는 냉전과 광폭한 자본의 영향으로 가득 찬 이 도시 공간에서 망각되어가는 역사를 사람과 사물을 통해 불러내어 지금 우리가 기억해야 하는 것들은 무엇인지 질문한다. 이 물음은 우리가 보아온 풍경에서 보이지 않는 유/무형의 풍경들을 발굴한다. |

OH Min-wook was born in Busan in 1985. He studied media philosophy and experimental film at the Dong-Eui graduate school, and is continuously creating works that blur the boundary between experimental film and documentary to raise awareness of the notion of time that space holds |
