DESCRIPTION

이 작품은 애니메이션, 인형극, 실사가 섞인 감옥에 대한 이야기다. 기니피그 마사는 기술적으로 뛰어날 뿐 아니라 창조적이기까지 하다. 그는 주인이 없는 틈을 타 탈출을 시도한다. 전자 장치, 보디빌딩, 스티브 맥퀸, 기니피그어로 된 기나긴 독백으로 이루어진 영화.

This story about a prison combines animation, puppetry and live action. The parallel worlds and scales collide as Masa, a guinea pig yearning for freedom, and his owner go about implementing their own plans. In his nest, the technologically surprisingly advanced and creative pet plots his convoluted getaway plans, which always run into the impenetrable wall of his owner’s love. This movie features electric gadgets, bodybuilding, Steve McQueen and surprisingly long monologues spoken in guinea pig language.

안시 카시톤니

안시 카시톤니는 스케이트 보더이자 수상 경력이 있는 아티스트이다. 가장 사랑받는 작품은 그가 소유한 농장에서 촬영한 단편 영화들이다. 그 영화들은 도덕성, 사랑, 죽음, 세대 차이, 성 정체성과 관련된 아주 오래된 질문들을 숨은 의도로 드러낸다. 그 질문에 대한 사고는 넓고 방대하지만, 영화는 단연 평범하며 일상적이다. 카시톤니는 2011년 얼스 페니카 어워드에서 수상하였다.

Anssi KASITONNI

Anssi Kasitonni is a skateboarder and an award-winning artist from Sahalahti, Finland. The most beloved of his works are the short films he makes at his own farm. The films deal with age-old questions related to morality, love, death, generation gaps, sexuality and, of course, submarines. The ideas are epic, the films decidedly homespun. Kasitonni won the esteemed Ars Fennica Award in 2011.
