DESCRIPTION

<사대문의 도시 Part4>는 서울 사대문을 각각 다루는 4채널 구조의 다큐멘터리 픽션에서 서대문 파트에 해당한다. 영상은 서대문 지역 옥바라지 골목에 관해 이야기하는 역사학자와 원주민의 인터뷰에 곧 철거를 앞둔 여관의 지하실에서 오래된 회중시계를 발견하게 되는 산책자 H라는 허구적 상황을 결부시켜 보여준다.

<The Four Gated City Part4> corresponds to the Seodaemun part in Documentary-Fiction with 4 channel structures dealing with four gates of Seoul respectively. The video shows the fictional situation with pedestrian H who found an old pocket watch in the basement of an inn with upcoming demolition in conjunction with the interview of the history scholar and the original dweller.

 

안상범

1991년 인천에서 출생하여 현대미술을 전공한 안상범은 변화하고 사라져 가는 장소성과 근대성에 관심을 가지고 다양한 방식의 미술, 영상작업을 해오고 있다. 서울국제뉴미디어페스티벌, 서울국제실험영화제 등 영화제와 전시에 참여하고, 제15회 서울국제뉴미디어페스티벌 전시제에서 관객구애상을 수상한 바 있다.

 AHN Sangbum 

Born in Incheon in 1991 and majored in Contemporary art, Ahn Sang-Bum has taken deep interest in vanishing places and the modernity, which led to a variety of media and artworks. He has engaged in a few festivals and exhibitions like Seoul International New Media Festival, Seoul International Experimental Film and Video Festival. He won an Audience Juryaward in 15th Seoul International New Media Festival.
