DESCRIPTION
‘리얼 타임’이라는 시간성이 통용되는 사회- 과거도 미래도 없는 곳 - 모든 이들이 얼굴 없이 살아간다. 어느 날, 얼굴을 가지고 일어난 한 여자가 공황 상태에 빠진다. 이름 모를 아이들의 도움을 받아 그녀는 사람들의 얼굴이 지녔던 힘과 역사를 알게 된다. 그리고 그녀는 미래를 찾아나선다.
In a society under the reformed 'Real-Time' Calendar, without history nor future, everybody is faceless. A woman panics when she wakes up one day with a face. With the help of the Spectral Children she slowly finds out more about the lost power and history of the human face and begins the search for its future.

Manu LUKSCH Manu Luksch is filmmaker and artist who interrogates conceptions of progress and scrutinises the effects of network technologies on social relations, urban space, and political structures. Her widely acclaimed speculative fiction film FACELESS (2002-07), narrated by Tilda Swinton and part of the Collection Centre Pompidou, pioneered the notion of ‘legal readymades’ by appropriating data protection legislation into a process for filmmaking. |
