DESCRIPTION
편지를 쓴 이 여자를 바라보자. 무엇을 원하고, 어떻게 요청하고 있는지. ‘클라이언트’ 역할을 수행하고 있는 경우와 퍼포먼스 아티스트가 ‘클라이언트'인 경우로 바라본다면.
This woman is writing a letter. She was a client who looked for a house with realtors. She is describing several houses she visited as a performance artist now in front of many doctors on stage. How does she figure out what she is writing about her visits? What does she ultimately desire to obtain?

이세옥 서울에서 태어나서, 대학과 대학원에서 문학, 미디어, 영상을 공부했다. 개인전 <모험의 편집공학>과 <오픈 리딩 프레임>, 단체전 <APMAP 2016>, <랜덤 액세스>, <X_Sound>, <카운트 다운> 등에서 사운드를 중심으로 한 설치작품을 발표했다. 시네마디지털서울, 서울국제실험영화제, 서울국제뉴미디어페스티벌 등에서 영상 작품을 발표했다. 한국예술종합학교 융합예술센터에서 연구원으로 일하며, 연구-교육-창작 연계 프로그램 <위치 감각>과 <클리닉에서 스크린까지, 건강과 행복을 구하는 방법들>을 기획했다.

RHEE Sei Sei Rhee was born in Seoul, S. Korea. She studied literature, communications, and arts. Her sound installations have been presented in several venues such as her solo shows Editorial Engineering of Adventure, Open Reading Frame, and also group shows APMAP 2016, Random Access, X_sound, Count Down. Her moving image pieces have been shown in CinDi, ExIS, Nemaf etc. She has also worked for Art Collider center at Korea National University of Arts. |
