DESCRIPTION

낮이며 밤인, 안이며 바깥인, 정지이며 흐름인, 가로로 세로로 직조되는 세계. 비어있는 객석, 비어있는 스크린, 비어있는 무대, 비어있는 길, 비어있는 방, 비어있는 복도 그리고 사라진 인물들 혹은 그 반대.

There is a world woven horizontally and vertically in which day and night, inside and outside, halt and flow coexist in a metaphorical way. There are empty seats, an empty screen, an empty stage, empty roads, an empty room, empty corriodrs, and people who disappeared, and vice versa.

차미혜

차미혜는 각 개체들이 비정형적으로 관계 맺는 방식에 주목하며, 견고해보이는 기준이나 경계가 모호해지는 지점을 영상, 사진, 퍼포먼스, 설치를 통해 표현한다. 개인전 <가득, 빈, 유영>(케이크갤러리, 2015)을 비롯하여, <Remembering or Floating>(Atelier Nord ANX gallery, 노르웨이, 2017), <Interdisciplinary Art Festival Tokyo>(Japan, 2016), < 2016 실험 예술프로젝트: 달, 쟁반같이 둥근 달>(대구예술발전소), <소실.점>(스페이스오뉴월 이주헌, 2016), Osmosis Audiovisual Media Festival , <랜덤 액세스 2015>(백남준 아트센터)등 다수의 그룹전, 영상페스티벌에 참여했다.

CHA Mihye

Mihye Cha pays attention to the way each entities marry informally and represents through video, photo, performance and installations. the potentials within the spot where such solid standards and borders become vague. Her solo/group shows/festivals include Full, Empty, Floating (Cake gallery, Seoul, 2015), Remembering or Floating (Atelier Nord ANX gallery, Oslo, 2017), Interdisciplinary Art Festival Tokyo (Japan, 2016), Experimental Art Project 2016: The moon, round like a little plate,(Daegu Art Factory), Vanishing. Point (Space O’NewWall, Seoul, 2016), Osmosis Audiovisual Media Festival (Taiwan, 2016) and Random Access 2015 (Nam June Paik Art Center, Korea).
