DESCRIPTION
<돌침대 계곡에서 꿈을 꾸다>는 예루살렘을 차지한 이스라엘과 베들레헴을 장악한 팔레스타인의 경계 지역 주변의 일상적 리얼리티에서 시작한다. 작품 속 두 남자는 대립에 적응하는 방법, 이 땅에서 생존하기 위한 인간과 자연의 새로운 전략에 대한 서로 다른 두 관점을 대변한다.
Dreaming in the Stone-bed Valley departs from the everyday realities in and around the Israel controlled Jerusalem and the bordering zone of the Palestinian controlled Bethlehem. Two men representtwo different perspectives on adaption to the conflict and of how new survival strategies emerge in order for human and nature to survive within this territory.

시리 헤르만센 시리 헤르만센(1969)은 깊은 사회적, 생태학적, 정치적 변화를 겪고 있는 장소들의 입양과 생존 전략에 초점을 맞춘 영화, 사진, 설치 미술 등을 제작한다. 노르웨이의 국립 예술 박물관, 제19회 시드니 비엔날레, 다시 본1814 – 과거는 여전하다 (노르웨이), 서바이벌 키트 페스티벌(우메오), 베닌 비엔날레, Careof 갤러리(이탈리아) 등에서 작품을 선보인 바 있다. 2016년에는 오슬로 국립 예술 대학에서 박사 학위 과정을 마쳤다.

Siri Hermansen Siri Hermansen (1969) works with film, photography and installations focusing on adoption and survival strategies in places that undergo deep social, ecological and political change. She recently exhibited at National Museum of Arts in Norway, Internationale Künstlerhause Villa Concordia, AkershusKunstsenter, Galleri 3,14 and The Sami Center of Contemporary Art. Hermansenhas also shown at the 19th Bienniale of Sydney, 1814 revisited – The past is still (Norway), Survival Kit Festival in Umeå(2014), Benin Biennale, and Careof Gallery (Italy).Hermansen completed her doctorate in 2016 at the National Academy of the arts in Oslo. |
