DESCRIPTION

장기 불황과 극심한 취업난 가운데 자리잡지 못하고 혼자 공무원 시험 준비 중인 수연의 심정은 우울하거나 화만 날 뿐이다. 이때 길에서 주워온 화분 속 시든 풀이 수연에 공감해준다. 고단했던 지난 날 만큼 자라준다면, 더욱 자라나 수연과 수연의 방과 이 세상을 다 덮어준다면 얼마나 좋을까. 수연은 사람으로 사는 게 힘들어 그만 식물이 되고 싶다.

Suyeon with a sense of lonliness, depression and anger has prepared civil service and has not settled in long-term recession and severe job-hunting. Suyoen needs consolation. At this time, a withered grass in a flowerpot picked up on the street sympathizes with Suyeon.

 

명세진

영화는 종합예술이기 전에 기본적으로 ‘시각 매체’라고 생각한다. 아름답고 효과적인 화면으로 기억되는 영화를 만들고 싶다. 학부 때는 프로덕션디자인(영화미술)을 전공했으며 현재 영화 연출 석사 과정 중이다. 2013년부터 단편영화 작업을 계속 해오고 있다.

Of course, film is a composite art, but, before that, it is also a ‘visual medium’. It is not because I majored in Production Design, which is Film Art. But, I would like to make a film which is remembered with its beautiful, effectual pictures. Since 2013, I have been working on short films.
