이 작품을 한 단어로 표현하자면, 그 답은 – 제임스 조이스가 말한 “만화경”이다. 작가는 새장, 로봇 장난감, 빅토리아 풍 코르셋 등 이미지를 재활용한다. 이러한 시각적 요소는 다양한 형태로 배치되며 이는 극적인 진행으로 미묘하고 모호한 감각을 불러온다.

If asked to say what this work is about in one word, the answer – which is woven into the electronic musique concrete soundtrack- would be a Joycean one: it’s a “collideroscape.” The imagery is a return to materials Rankus dealt with as a young man in the video Naked Doom(1983).
