DESCRIPTION

'빛 빛에 관하여'는 ‘빛: Licht(리히트, 독일어), light(라이트, 영어)’ 두 언어 사이의 혼란으로 인한 글쓰기의 오류에서 시작한다. 독일어와 영어가 가진 비슷하면서도 다른 리듬과 음성을 바탕으로 김새봄이 시를 썼다. 그 시는 김윤희 작가가 드로잉 작업에서 만들었던 번역시스템을 통하여 각 알파벳은 격자 안에 재배치되고 점들은 선으로 연결된다. 그 후에 각각의 알파벳은 신디사이저 건반의 알고리즘 기반으로 또 다시 변환되어 결국 처음 쓰여진 시는 음악적 사운드로 표현된다. (예: A-도, B-레, C-미…)

About Licht light, has inspired Saebom to create a new poem and sound. From the mistake of writing caused by the confusion between two languages - ‘Licht and light’ -, she wrote the poem based on the rhythm and phonetic of both English and German. The poem was then translated into drawings based on a translation system, which Yoonhee made for her former artistic practice: each letter from this poem is rearranged/positioned on a grid as dot and the lines are drawn between the dots. Furthermore, the piano-key sound for each letter is based on the algorithm between alphabets and synthesizer-keyboard: this way, the first poetry becomes a musical sound. (for example, A with Do, B with Re and so on.)

김윤희 2011년도 네덜란드 유트레흐트 예술대학 석사, 예루살렘 베짤렐 미술대학 및 홍익대학교 조소과 졸업하였다. 2012년 베를린 작가 레지던시 프로그램,‘Culturia’ 을 시작으로 첫번째 개인전, ”One and...Poems”, Joao Cocteau,Berlin,2013, 두번째 개인전,”Der Nabel ist grüßer als der Bauch”, Galerie Jochen Hempel, Berlin, 2017, 을 비롯해 베를린을 중심으로 유럽과 이스라엘에서 여러 단체전 에 참가하였다. 김새봄 2010년 한국예술종합학교 영화과 사운드 전공 졸업 후 2016년 베를린 예술대학 Art and Media 석사 졸업. 단편영화 연출로 전주국제영화제, 서울독립영화제에서 상영했으며 실험영화, 다양한 미디어 작업으로 경계를 확장하고 있다.

KIM Yoonhee  She finished her MA from Utrecht School of Art in 2011, and also has studied in Fine Art at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and Honik University in South Korea. Begin with Artists Residency program,‘Culturia‘ in Berlin 2012, she has been participated many other exhibitions in Europe and Israel. KIM Saebom  She studied film making and film sound at the Korea National University of Arts. During this time, she made several short fiction films and worked for film sound. In 2016 she finished Art and Media at Berlin University of the Arts where she has expanded her artworks in diverse and experimental ways.
