DESCRIPTION

<다리의 감정>은 프랑크푸르트 젠켄베르크 자연사 박물관을 매개로 단편적인 이야기를 만들기 위해 새로운 영역을 탐험하듯, 나치 수용소 테레진 게토와 독일의 자연사 박물관, 등 다양한 상징적인 장소로부터 이미지를 수집하면서 제작되었다.

Emotion of Leg was developed in Frankfurt. In this piece, I explore new territories to form a fragmented narrative. Collecting images from various symbolic sites such as the Theresienstadt Ghetto and the Senckenberg Natural History Museum.

신이피

신이피는 인간의 관계성을 미시적으로 바라보고 그것을 영상매체로 시각화하며 실험실의 주인이자 관찰자로서 내러티브를 가진 개인을 관찰한다.현 금천예술공장 입주작가이며 최근전시로는 <다리의 감정>(서울시립미술관 세마창고,2019), <희연한 잠>(송은아트큐브,2018) 개인전과 <Echolocation>(KHOJ, 뉴델리), <No matter hoe thick the glass>(Basis, 프랑크푸르트), <창문없는 관측소>(대청호 미술관, 2018), <일부러 불편하게>(소마미술관, 2018) 등 다수의 그룹전에 참여하였다. 2012년 프랑스문화재청<Des fils et d'encres>에 선정되었으며 Nomad AIR(노르웨이, 2017), 국립현대미술관 고양레지던시(2018)에 입주작가로 활동하였다.

SIN Ifie

SIN Ifie expresses the relationships of an individual in a group and in a society through microscopic visuals, like those from a laboratory. Now resident Artist at Seoul art space Geumcheon. Solo exhibitions include <Emotion of leg>(SeMA Storage, 2019), <A Sleep in whiteness>, (SongEun Art cube, 2018) and <Echolocation>(KHOJ, New Delhi), <No matter hoe thick the glass>(Basis, Frankfurt), <An observatory without window>(Daecheongho Art Museum, 2018), <Discomfort on purpose>(Seoul Olympic Museum of Art, 2018) In 2017, SIN was selected by the Art Council Korea to participate in Norway’s ‘Nomad AIR’ as a part of an international exchange programs and MMCA residency (2018).
