<쉽게 쓰인 자막 혹은 사랑 시>는 유년시절부터 그 이후의 창조적 행위와 그 기원에 관한 것이다. 이는 잠재의식적이고 의도적이다. 본 작품은 싱글채널 영상이며, 잘못된 조합의 텍스트와 이미지를 다룬다. 

Subtitles or a love poem in plain language is about creative acts and their origins, both subconscious and deliberate, from childhood and in what comes after. A silent, single-channel video, it operates on miscombinations of text and image.

Lesley-Anne Cao

Lesley-Anne Cao (b. 1992, Philippines) is a visual artist working primarily with objects and installation. Her practice is an inquiry into and a privileging of the quiet and self-effacing in relation to spectacle and significance in the context of exhibitions and art-making. She earned her BFA in Studio Arts from the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts – Diliman. She has also presented work in Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Australia.
