Professor & Film Critic. After directing 4 short non-narrative films in university, started studying film theory at graduate school. Her research has focused on Korean film history, culture, industry, and education. Currently she is teaching film theory and history at Seoil University, and contributing columns to newspapers.

She received the Korean Film Critics Association's Rookie Review Award and contributed reviews to various pages, and is currently working as a writer for Cinema Critique of Le Monde Diplomatique. She majored in theater in the Korean literature department and received a doctorate under the theme of Korean film censorship in the 1970s, and is conducting lectures on theater and film at the university. She is steadily paying attention to Korean film history, and is studying the correlation between genre films and censorship while serving as a research professor at the university research institute.

He is now working as the general affairs director of The Korean Association of Film Critics. He has studied video contents storytelling for quite a long time. He also has published several books: a collection of his film critics, 『The night of disillusionment and the dawn of human』(2019) and an academic literature related animation, 『SF, Posthuman, Oughtopia』(2018) and etc.

She is a film researcher and critic. She studied cinema at York University in Canada and got her PhD at the graduated school of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia and Film at Chung-Ang University. She published many papers and books on films.

Max Balhorn is currently a student at Chung-ang University where he is pursuing a doctorate in cultural studies. His current research focuses on the intersection of environmental history and film in the South Korean context. He also works as an academic translator in the humanities, helping bring Korean-language scholarship to English-speaking readers. Most recently, he has been working on a translation project on the history of South Korean capitalism from the end of the Joseon Dynasty up until the present. With a commitment to advancing social justice causes and working-class politics, Max looks to engage himself in projects that strengthen international solidarity and cooperation.

Art critic. He is an editor of Okulo and runs ‘rasun press’.

MOON Hokyung writes and lectures on various cultural contents such as people, space, media, and policy making. She studied the history of art at the Graduate School of Sookmyung Women’s University and attained a master’s degree after taking a postgraduate course in the culture industry at Goldsmiths College, University of London. She has worked as a curator for the Hanwon Museum of Art and the National Women’s History Exhibition Hall. She is currently working as an independent curator. She has organized exhibitions of 《Telling the Truth: Beyond Death, Beyond the Darkness of the Age》(2020) and 《Records Memories: Stories of “Comfort Women,” Untold Words》(2019).
