〈No Is Canceling〉은 기술이 세계를 인식하고 재현하는 방식을 탐구하며, 그 시야에서 밀려난 존재들의 흔적을 따라 새로운 서사를 상상하는 인터랙티브 미디어 작업이다. 구글 스트리트뷰와 웹캠 속 신체 등 기술의 시선 아래 포착된 이미지를 대상으로 AI 기반 세분화 알고리즘을 실험하고, 그 과정에서 기술이 분류하지 못한 픽셀과 자투리 데이터—즉 ‘노이즈’—를 수집해 ‘Mx.NO’라는 존재로 재구성한다. 관객은 리모컨으로 CRT 디스플레이 채널을 넘기며, Mx.NO의 행방을 추적한다.

"No is Canceling" is an interactive media artwork that explores how technology perceives and reconstructs the world, while tracing the remnants of those pushed beyond its field of vision to imagine new narratives. By experimenting with AI-based segmentation algorithms on images captured through technological gazes—such as Google Street View and bodies seen through webcams—the work collects pixels and residual data that elude classification, reimagining them as a being called Mx.NO. Audiences use a remote control to flip through CRT display channels, following the traces and movements of Mx.NO.
