  유하나Hana YOO

  유하나는 인위성과 그 정치적 맥락, 기계장치에 의한 정신 상태의 변화, 그리고 심리적 분열성 대한 관심으로 작업을 이어나가고 있다. 실험영상과 설치를 기반으로 자연의 알레고리와 타자성의 관계를 스토리텔링으로 풀어낸다. 작업은 개인전 엘보룸 (아쿠드갤러리, 베를린, 독일), 챔버 (탈영역 우정국, 서울), 히스테릭 C (디스쿠어스 베를린, 독일), 단체전 포토뮤지엄 (빈터투어, 스위스) 및 유러피안미디어아트 페스티발(EMAF)를 포함 여러 곳에서 상영 및 전시되었다. 2022년에는 베를린 아트 프라이즈를 수상하였으며, 현재 베를린과 서울을 기반으로 활동 중이다.

  Hana Yoo is interested in artificiality and its political context, the alteration of mental states by technical apparatus. Based on experimental videos and installations, Yoo explores the interrelationship between the allegory of nature and otherness, which she translates into storytelling. Her work has been screened and exhibited at various venues, including the solo exhibitions Elbow Room (Acud Gallery, Berlin, Germany), Chamber (Post-territory Ujeongguk, Seoul, South Korea), Hysteric C (Diskurs Berlin, Germany), and group exhibitions Fotomuseum (Winterthur, Switzerland) and European Media Arts Festival (EMAF). She was awarded the Berlin Art Prize in 2022 and is currently based between Berlin and Seoul.
