DESCRIPTION

"이 스토리텔링 접근법은 여러 대상과 주제를 다루는 페르시아의 미니어처에 기반해 있다. 순차적인 서사 구조와 거리를 두는 이 영화는 네 개의 이야기로 구성되어 있으며, 각 이야기는 현대 이란인들의 시선을 통해 이란이 역사적으로 어려움을 겪었던 서로 다른 특정 시기를 그려낸다. 이 이야기들은 ‘호마’, 즉 자신의 죽음과 함께 모든 것을 휩쓸어갈 미지의 바람에 대해 예언하는 행운의 새에 얽힌 전설과 한데 엮인다. 바람은 시간을 상징하며, 그 무엇도 피할 수 없는 종말을 나타낸다.
언급된 네 개의 주요 서사에 더해 숨겨진 다섯 번째 이야기가 그중 두 이야기 사이에서 드러나며, 관객이 처음과 마지막 이야기를 이음으로써 이를 발견할 수 있도록 한다. 영화는 또한 현 시대의 이란 사회가 가진 중요한 특성, 즉 많은 이들이 직접 살아본 적도 없는 과거에 대한 강한 향수의 감정을 은근하게 반영한다."

"This storytelling approach is grounded in multifigure / multitopic Persian miniatures. To move away from a linear narrative structure, the film presents four stories, each depicting a distinct period of historical hardship in Iran as seen through the perspectives of modern Iranians. These stories are interwoven with the myth of the Homa - a bird of fortune that dies, heralding mysterious wind that sweep everything away. The wind functions as a symbol of time, marking the inevitable end of all things.
In addition to these four main narratives, a hidden fifth story emerges within two of the other stories, allowing the audience to discover it by connecting the first and last stories. The film also subtly reflects a significant trait of contemporary Iranian society: a strong sense of nostalgia for a past in which many never lived."

모에인알딘 잘랄리Moeinoddin Jalali

이란과 우크라이나를 기반으로 활동하는 독립 영화감독이자, 2021년부터 '2 People Production' LLC의 대표다. 키이우 국립 I.K. 카르펜코-카리 연극·영화·텔레비전 대학교에서 촬영 전공으로 석사 학위를 (우등으로) 취득했으며, 2021/22년 교토 필름메이커스 랩(Kyoto Filmmakers Lab) 참가했다. 이란 영화촬영감독협회(Iranian Society of Cinematographers) 회원으로, After (2016), Interview (2020) 등의 단편에서 프로듀서 및 촬영감독으로 참여했다. 2025년에는 첫 단편 연출작 Wind를 발표했다.
2020년에는 키이우 청년 프로듀서 스쿨(KMP, Molodist IFF)에 첫 장편 프로젝트 The Echo of The Leopard로 참가했고,
이 프로젝트는 이후 제20회 골든 아프리콧 국제영화제 프로젝트 마켓(Golden Apricot IFF PM), 제22회 홍콩 아시아 필름 파이낸싱 포럼(HAF), 그리고 2024년 La Fabrique Cinéma에 선정되었다. 같은 해, 장편 프로젝트 The Family로 *비엔날레 칼리지 시네마(Biennale College Cinema)*에도 참가했다.

An independent filmmaker based in Iran and Ukraine, CEO of '2 People Production' LLC (since 2021). He holds an MA with honors in Cinematography from the Kyiv National I.K. Karpenko-Kary Theater, Cinema and Television University and is an alumnus of the Kyoto Filmmakers Lab (2021/22). A member of the Iranian Society of Cinematographers, he has worked as a producer and DP on short films such as “After” (2016) and “Interview” (2020). In 2025, he directed his first short film “Wind”.
In 2020, he attended the KMP Kyiv School for Young Producers (Molodist IFF) with his debut feature film project “The Echo of The Leopard”, which was later selected for the 20th Golden Apricot IFF PM, the 22nd Hong Kong - Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF), and La Fabrique Cinema in 2024. That same year, he participated in the Biennale College Cinema with his feature film project “The Family”.
