    교수 & 영화평론가. 대학에서 영화 연출을 전공하며 내러티브가 없는 단편영화 4편을 완성한 후, 대학원에서는 영화 이론 공부를 시작했다. 현재 서일대학교 영화방송공연예술학과 교수로 재직 중으로, 한국영화 역사, 문화, 산업, 교육 관련 연구를 지속하며, 영화 관련 글도 기고하고 있다. 공저로는 『영화예술의 이해』(2000), 『은막의 사회문화사』(2017), 『한국영화감독1』(2020), 『영화와 배우』(2021),  『영화와 가족』(2022) 등이 있다.

    Professor & Film Critic. After directing 4 short non-narrative films in university, started studying film theory at graduate school. Her research has focused on Korean film history, culture, industry, and education. Currently she is teaching film theory and history at Seoil University, and contributing columns to newspapers.
