  Rafael Martínez Calle is a 24-year-old young film director from Córdoba. He graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Malaga (2015-2020), where he discovered photography and became interested in cinema. When he finished his studies in the Andalusian city, he decided to continue his training as a filmmaker in Madrid at the EFTI School of Cinema and Photography, where he studied the international master’s degree in directing and making digital cinema. During these two years he has made different pieces of fiction, video clips and advertising, concluding with Crudo, his debut. In it the director dumps his main topics of interest; sexual awakening, adolescence and fear.
