듀 킴은 섹슈얼리티, 퀴어, 페미니즘, 가학성애, 대중문화, 종교, 신비주의, 신체에 대한 문제를 지식과 연구의 형태로 탐구한다. 그의 작품은 양가적인 사회적 관계에서 비롯되는 사회적 갈등의 교차점에 존재한다. 그는 현대 생활에서 기존의 경계를 허물고 파괴하기 위해 이러한 긴장과 불안을 비틀고, 결합하고, 재구성하여 새로운 내러티브를 구축한다. 사회 시스템과 그 시스템이 유지하는 정상성에 맞서며, 시각 예술을 통해 생성되는 강렬하고 충동적인 에너지를 구현하기 위한 전략으로 개인에 대한 배제와 버려짐의 의미를 탐구한다.

<우리의 밤이 미래가 될 때까지 ☆ Kiss of Chaos>는 샤머니즘적 퍼포먼스를 중심으로 트랜스휴먼과 포스트휴먼, 퀴어와 젠더의 문제를 케이팝 스타일의 뮤직비디오로 이야기한다. 여성 아이돌의 노래 가사를 주문처럼 따라 부르며 케이팝 산업이 재생산하는 명백한 이분법적 성 역할을 모호하게 만든다.

Dew Kim explores issues of sexuality, queerness, feminism, sadomasochism, pop culture, religion, my sticism, and the body as forms of knowledge and research. His work exists at the intersection of social conflicts that emerge from ambivalent social relationships. He twists, combine, and reorganize these tensions and anxieties in order to forge new narratives in an effort to break down and disrupt conventional boundaries in contemporary life. By confronting social systems and the normality maintained by these systems, Kim's work explores the significant of exclusion and abandonment of individuals as a strategy for embodying the intense, impulsive energy generated through visual art. Kiss of Chaos is Centering on shamanistic performances, Dew Kim discusses issues of queerness and gender along with the concepts of transhuman and posthuman through a K-pop–style music video. And he sings the spell-like words of a female pop idol’s song, blurring the overt binary gender roles reproduced by the K-pop industry.
