영화감독이라면 부모의 생애를 영상으로 기록하고싶은 욕망을 숙제처럼 지니고 있다. 모든 어머니들이 그렇듯 엄마도 파란만장한 생을 살아왔고, 여러 의미에서 생존자다. 어느 날 엄마는 스스로 자신의 삶을 삐뚤삐뚤한 그림으로 그리기 시작했다. 이때다 싶어서 간단한 인터뷰를 한 후에 영상으로 옮겨보았다. 귀여운 그림체로 전달하는 엄마의 생애구술사 애니메이션.
As a film director, you have the desire to record the life of your parents as a homework assignment. Like all mothers, mothers have lived a tumultuous life, and in many ways are survivors. One day, my mother began to paint her own life with crooked pictures. I wanted to do this, so after a brief interview, I moved it to a video. An animation of a mother's life story conveyed through cute drawings.

진도에서 태어나 광주로 유학 온 이야기, 성인이 되어 광주5.18을 겪은 이야기, 노년이 되어 장애인의 삶을 살게 된 엄마의 이야기.
The story of a girl who was born in Jindo and moved to Gwangju to study abroad, the story of Gwangju 5.18 as an adult, and the story of a mother who became a disabled person in her old age.

광주 수피아여자중·고등학교 재학중 문학도를 꿈꿨던 소녀였고 성인이 되어 광주현대문화연구소에서 시민단체 활동을 시작으로 광주·전남 최초 독립 여성단체 ‘송백회’활동으로 80년 오월광주 시민군을 도왔다. 이후 극단’광대’의 단원으로 광주를 알리는 연극 활동에 참여하며 한국 현대사를 온몸으로 관통하는 삶을 살아왔다. 50대에 급성뇌졸중으로 신체 장애를 얻어 자신의 인생을 다시 돌아보며 마비된 오른손 대신 왼손으로 그린 그림과 글을 담아 <양림동 소녀>를 독립출간하였다. 그렇게 소녀는 여인에서, 엄마로, 지금도 작고 큰 사회시민단체 활동을 하며 자신의 삶을 이어가고 있다.Lim young hee was a girl who dreamed of studying literature while attending Sufia Girls’ Middle and High School, and when she became an adult, she started working as a civic group at the Gwangju Institute of Contemporary Culture. helped the Gwangju militia in May 1980. and she has lived a life that penetrates Korean modern history with her whole body. In her 50s, she suffered a physical disability due to an acute stroke, and she looked back on her life and independently published <Yangrim-dong Girl> with her drawings and writings with her left hand instead of her paralyzed right hand.

대학에서는 미술을 전공했다. 졸업 후에는 페인팅 개인전 <-8.5의 감성, 2011>, <코스모스, 2013>를 개최했다. 2015년부터 영상 작업을 시작했다. <피아노 프리즘, 2021>, <덩어리, 2016>, <블라인드 필름, 2016>, <봄날, 2018> 등을 연출했다. 부산국제영화제, 전주국제영화제, 서울독립영화제 등에서 상영한 이력이 있다. 최근에는 영상과 피아노 연주를 결합한 오디오비주얼 퍼포먼스에 집중하고 있다.Oh Jae Hyeong majored in Painting at university. After his graduation, he held a painting solo exhibition <Sensitivity of -8.5, 2011> and <Cosmos, 2013>. He started working on videos in 2015. He directed films such as <The Lump, 2016>, <Blind Film, 2016>, <A Spring Day, 2018>, <Piano Prism, 2021>. He have screened at the <Busan International Film Festival>, <Jeonju International Film Festival>, <Seoul Independent Film Festival> In recent years, audio visual performance has been combined with video and piano performance.
