DESCRIPTION
“우리는 섬에서 태어나도 언어 자체가 다 시(詩)라!”. 한반도 남쪽 바다 통영시 욕지면, 인구 20명이 사는 작은 섬 우도마을. 앞집에 누가 사는지도 모르고 살아가는 육지의 삶과 달리, 섬마을 사람들은 좋으나 싫으나 더불어 살아갈 수밖에 없다. 열네 명의 우도 주민이 전하는, 섬의 삶.
We were born on an island, but our language itself is all poetry! Udo Village, a small island with a population of 20, is located in Yokji-myeon, Tongyeong-si, in the southern sea of the Korean Peninsula. Unlike life on land, where people live without knowing who lives next door, island villagers have no choice but to live together, whether they like it or not. The life of the island, told by 14 people.

남쪽 바다 미륵섬에서 유년기를, 지리산 골짜기 대안학교에서 청소년기를, 서울의 지옥고에서 청년기를 살았다. 2011년부터 2019년까지, 827일 동안 지구 한 바퀴를 여행하고 로드무비 <남한기행>, <늘샘천축국뎐>, <지구별 방랑자>를 만들었다. 독립영화전용관 인디스페이스, 생활놀이장터 늘장, 여행학교 로드스꼴라, 서울시 청년활동지원센터, 섬마을영화제에서 일했다. 인디언식(式) 이름은 '땅을 치고 춤춰'.
I spent my childhood on a small island in the south sea, adolescence in an alternative school in the mountains, and lived as a youth in the basement and rooftop rooms in Seoul. I traveled around the world for 827 days, from 2011 to 2019. Diary Films <Sun of Labor>, <Days of Construction Worker>, <Maitreya Circus>, <Phuket Mandara>, road movies <A Trip to South Korea-People of Life>, <Song of Road>, I made <The Siberia Traversing Diary of a Family from Tongyeong>.
