영화학 박사. 영화연출자.「영상(映像) 이전의 한국 영상(影像)미학 연구」를 주제로 박사학위를 받았고 공저로 『해방과 전쟁 사이의 한국영화』(박이정, 2017)가 있다. 현재 아주대학교와 경희대학교에서 영화이론을 강의하고 있다. 단편영화 <언박싱(unboxing)>(2024)을 연출했다.
Ph.D. in Film Studies. Filmmaker. Received a doctoral degree with the dissertation titled "The aesthetics of Korean art images (影像) before cinematic images (映像)" and co-authored "Korean Cinema Between Liberation and War" (Pakijong Press, 2017). Currently, teaching film theory at Ajou University and Kyung Hee University. Directed the short film Unboxing (2024).
